Change Error Prevention

When a system is running, configuration changes such as modifications, manual scaling of workloads, and patch installations may lead to downtime in the production system. If a change fails, it can result in serious problems, like performance deterioration or service interruptions. To minimize service risks associated with these changes, changes to your workload or its environment must be anticipated and accommodated to achieve reliable operation of the workload.

Change operations are a part of O&M. For details, see "Operational Excellence Pillar" > "O&M Preparation and Change Management".
