Shared Responsibility Model for Resiliency
Resiliency is a responsibility shared between you and Huawei Cloud. The resilience of a cloud application system depends on the cloud infrastructure and the application system itself. If either is faulty, the application system is unable to provide services.
- Huawei Cloud is responsible for resiliency of the infrastructure. This infrastructure comprises the hardware, software, networking, and facilities that run Huawei Cloud services. Huawei Cloud uses all commercially reasonable efforts to make these cloud services available, ensuring service availability meets SLAs.
- Your responsibility is determined by the Huawei Cloud services that you select. This determines the amount of configuration work you must perform as part of your resiliency responsibilities. You can refer to the design principles and best practices in this white paper to build highly available application systems with detection and recovery capabilities for various abnormal scenarios.
