Instance

On the Instance page, you can view instance information, and stop, start, or delete Agents on instances.

Viewing Instances

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click on the left and choose Application > Application Performance Management.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Application Monitoring > Metrics.
  4. In the tree on the left, click next to the target environment. The instance monitoring page is displayed.
  5. On the displayed page, click the Instance tab to view the instance list.

    1. Set the search criteria and click in the search box in the upper right corner of the page to filter instances.
    2. In the upper right corner of the page, view the number of offline, normal, or disabled instances.

    Parameter

    Description

    Host

    Host name.

    IP Address

    IP address of an instance.

    Instance Name

    Instance name.

    Agent Status

    Agent status. Options: Offline, Normal, and Disabled.

    • By default, normal Agents are displayed first, then disabled ones, and offline ones.
    • You can click in the Agent Status column to filter data by Agent status.

    Agent Version

    Agent version.

    Last Heartbeat Time

    Latest time when instance data was collected.

    • You can click in the Last Heartbeat Time column to sort data.

    Enable/Disable Agent

    Enable or disable the Agent.

    Operation

    Operation performed on the instance.

    You can click Delete to delete the instance.

Enabling or Disabling Agents

When the Agent is enabled, is displayed. When the Agent is disabled, is displayed.

Disabling an Agent

  1. In the instance list, locate the instance for which you want to disable an Agent and click .
  2. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.

Enabling an Agent

  1. In the instance list, locate the instance for which you want to enable an Agent and click .
  2. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.

Operating Agents in Batches

  1. In the instance list, select desired instances.
  2. Click Operate Agent.
  3. In the drop-down list, select Enable Agent, Disable Agent, or Delete Agent.
  4. In the displayed dialog box, click Confirm to enable, disable, or delete the Agents.
