Access Analysis

APM supports access analysis. This function collects statistics on the number of active users, page views, average loading time, JS errors, slow API rate, and API success rate. It includes page performance and feature statistics.

Page Performance: displays access traffic trend and statistics for analysis.

Feature Statistics: displays region, device, or system access features for analysis.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click on the left and choose Management & Governance > Application Performance Management.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Web Monitoring > Access Analysis. Select a site from the Site drop-down list. By default, the access analysis details of the site are displayed.

    • Displays the number of active users, page views, average loading time, JS errors, slow API rate, and API success rate.
    • Page Performance: displays the access traffic trend and statistics.
    • Feature Statistics: displays the region distribution, region visit distribution, browser distribution, carrier distribution, and OS distribution.

      Parameter

      Description

      UV

      Number of visitors who access the website. If a user accesses the site multiple times in a day, only one UV will be counted.

      PV

      Page view (PV), which is the number of times a page is opened or refreshed.

      Avg. Load Time

      Average page load time.

      JS Errors

      Number of JS errors.

      Slow APIs

      Slow APIs refer to APIs with load time longer than 1,000 ms. Slow API proportion = Number of slow APIs/Total number of APIs

      API Success Rate

      API success rate = Number of APIs that are successfully called/Total number of APIs

  4. In the upper right corner of the Access Analysis page, select a time range. Default: Last 20 minutes.

    Options: Last 20 minutes, Last hour, Last 3 hours, Last 6 hours, Last day, Today, Yesterday, Last week, Last month, or Custom.

Page Performance

  1. In the navigation pane, choose Web Monitoring > Access Analysis. By default, the page performance details are displayed.

    • Access Traffic Trend: displays UV, PV, and Number of Loads. Move the cursor to the graph. The detailed metric information is displayed.
    • Access Statistics: displays Page URL, Page Name, PV, UV, New Users, Page Clicks, and Time on Page. By default, the access statistics list is sorted by PV in descending order

      Access Traffic Trend

      UV

      Number of visitors who access the website. If a user accesses the site multiple times in a day, only one UV will be counted.

      PV

      Page view (PV), which is the number of times a page is opened or refreshed.

      Number of Loads

      Total number of times pages were loaded.

      Access Statistics

      Page URL

      URL of the accessed page.

      Page Name

      Name of the accessed page.

      PV

      Number of page views.

      UV

      Number of users who access the site within a specified period. If a user accesses the site multiple times within a period, only one user will be counted.

      New Users

      Number of users who access a page.

      Page Clicks

      Number of clicks on a page.

      Time on Page

      Duration for staying on a page.

  2. Click a URL in the Page URL column under Access Statistics to view the access statistics details of the URL.

    • In the search box, enter a page address and click to view the access statistics that meet the criteria.
    • Click in the upper right corner of the list to export information. A maximum of 200 records can be exported.
    • Click in the upper right corner of the list and select the target metric data.
      • Displays PV, UV, New Users, Page Clicks, and Time on Page.
      • Access Traffic Trend: displays UV, PV, and Number of Loads. Move the cursor to the graph. The detailed metric information is displayed.
      • Access Statistics Details: displays Started, URL, UID, Client IP Address, Load Type, Browser, OS, Carrier, Region, and Operation. By default, the access statistics details list is sorted by start time in descending order.
      • Click in the upper right corner of the access statistics details list and select the target metric data.

        Time when a user accesses a page.

        URL

        URL of the accessed page.

        UID

        User ID.

        Client IP Address

        IP address of the client.

        Load Type

        Page load type.

        Browser

        Type of the browser used by a user.

        OS

        Type of the OS used by a user.

        Carrier

        Carrier.

        Region

        Region where a user is located.

  3. Click Trace Session in the Operation column of the row that contains the target UID. The user track details page is displayed. For details, see User track details.

Feature Statistics

  1. In the navigation pane, choose Web Monitoring > Access Analysis. Select a site from the Site drop-down list and click the Feature Statistics tab. The feature statistics page is displayed.

    • If no province name is displayed in the Region column, the region distribution graph is not displayed.

    • When you hover the cursor over a region, the bar chart on the right displays the load times of the region.
    • Region Distribution: displays the region distribution graph, region name, UV, and PV. When you hover the cursor over a region, the PV of the region is displayed in the bar chart on the right. You can scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out the region distribution graph.
    • Region Access Distribution: displays the line graph of a region's access traffic at different time points.
    • Browser Distribution: displays the browser distribution pie chart, browser name, UV, and PV.
    • Carrier Distribution: displays the carrier distribution pie chart, carrier name, UV, and PV.
    • OS Distribution: displays the OS distribution pie chart, OS name, UV, and PV.

  2. You can click the blue text in the Region Distribution, Browser Distribution, Carrier Distribution, and OS Distribution areas to drill down to details.

    • Region distribution
      1. Click a region name in the Region column. The access statistics details of the region are displayed.

        Displays PV, UV, New Users, Page Clicks, and Time on Page (s).

    • OS distribution
      1. Click an OS name in the OS column. The access statistics of the OS are displayed. For details, see steps 1–2 in "Region distribution".
