Privacy Statement of APM Data Collection SDKs
APM data collection SDKs are open capabilities and services provided by Huawei Cloud Computing Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei") for application developers (hereinafter referred to as "developers") to report data to the Huawei Cloud APM backend using code.
After developers integrate APM data collection SDKs into their apps according to the development documentation and guide, Huawei will provide related services for end users (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "users") through the integrated SDKs, and process the developers' application data (which may contain your personal information). Huawei takes your personal information and privacy seriously, and is committed to taking appropriate security measures to protect your personal information in accordance with relevant laws and established industry security standards. This Statement will describe how Huawei collects, uses, discloses, protects, stores, and transmits your personal information.
Note: Huawei requires all developers who use APM data collection SDKs to strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations, developer agreements, and Developer Compliance Guide for APM Data Collection SDKs. Before accessing and using open capabilities, developers are required to inform you of the situation about personal information processing using the SDK in their privacy policies, and obtain your consent or other legal bases. However, Huawei is unable to control how developers and their apps process your personal information, and will not be liable for their behaviors. Huawei recommends that you carefully read user agreements and privacy policies related to developers' apps and use them only after you fully understand and agree to how the developers will process your personal information.
How Does Huawei Collect and Use Your Personal Information
Huawei will only collect and use your personal information in accordance with the purposes and methods described in this Statement. If Huawei wants to use your personal information for purposes not stated herein, Huawei will explicitly inform you about this by themselves or through developers, and obtain your consent again or other legal bases. If the SDK has extended functions or collects and uses optional personal information, Huawei will specify it in the document.
- APM data collection SDKs:
You can call the SDKs to report app logs to APM. The SDKs can collect information about the device model/name/disk/memory/brand/CPU, OS name/version, app version/name/process/thread, Wi-Fi status, and IP address.
Required Permissions
When you use relevant functions and services, Huawei will ask you for necessary device permissions through developer apps. You can check the permissions on your device settings or privacy settings page, and enable or disable some or all permissions as you want.
When integrating and using Huawei's open capabilities, developers will determine the required permissions by themselves. Therefore, developers should notify you of the requested permissions and purposes. By granting any permission as requested by a developer's application, you are authorizing Huawei to collect and use relevant personal information to provide you with corresponding services. Once you cancel the authorization, Huawei will no longer process relevant personal information based on the corresponding permission. The services that require the permission may not be provided for you. However, your decision to cancel the authorization does not affect previous personal information processing that you authorized.

Protection of Minors
Huawei attaches great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. Huawei will provide services and protection for minors in strict accordance with national laws and regulations. If you are a minor, your parents or other guardians must agree to your use of a developer application, and agree to the applicable terms and conditions. Parents or other guardians should also take appropriate precautions to protect minors, including monitoring their use of the developer application.
In particular, if you are a minor under the age of 14, please carefully read the privacy statements of developers' apps and this Statement with your parents or guardians, and obtain content their consent or guidance before you use the developers' apps and Huawei services or provide information for Huawei. If you are a parent or guardian, please ensure that the child under your guardianship uses the developers' apps and Huawei services and provides information for Huawei with your consent or under your guidance.
Managing Your Personal Information
Huawei prioritizes your concern for personal information. Huawei will comply with applicable laws and regulations to ensure that you can exercise personal data subject rights, such as accessing, copying, modifying, and deleting personal information.
As you are using APM SDKs and their services through a developer application, if you need to access, copy, or modify personal information related to the SDKs and their services, you should exercise your rights as a personal data subject through the channel provided by the developer application.
To protect your rights of accessing, copying, modifying, and deleting your personal information, Huawei explicitly requires developers in agreements to provide convenient methods for you to exercise your rights based on applicable laws and regulations. In addition, Huawei open capabilities also provide related APIs for developers to execute your requests of accessing, copying, modifying, and deleting personal information. You can contact Huawei by referring to How to Contact Huawei and Huawei will try the best to coordinate, support, and promote your exercise of the preceding rights.
If you directly request personal data subject rights from Huawei, to ensure your data security and other legitimate rights, Huawei may verify your identity and ask you to provide the required personal information. Huawei may also disclose collected information to developers to verify your identity. After verifying your identity, Huawei will respond to your request promptly, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
