Differences Between Individual Real-Name Authentication and Enterprise Real-Name Authentication

Updated at: Jun 19, 2020 GMT+08:00

Individual real-name authentication and enterprise real-name authentication differ greatly in account ownership:

  • If the account type is Individual, the authenticated account belongs to an individual.
  • If the account type is Enterprise, the authenticated account belongs to an enterprise.

Individual real-name authentication applies to freelancers.

Enterprise real-name authentication applies to enterprises, individual businesses, and all kinds of organizations.

Real-name authentication is required if you need to purchase resources in the CN North-Beijing1, CN North-Beijing4, CN East-Shanghai1, CN East-Shanghai2, and CN South-Guangzhou regions.
