Differences Between HUAWEI CLOUD China and HUAWEI CLOUD International

HUAWEI CLOUD has two websites: HUAWEI CLOUD China and HUAWEI CLOUD International.

  • HUAWEI CLOUD China is intended for customers in the Chinese mainland. For details about how to register a HUAWEI CLOUD China account, see Account Registration Process.
  • HUAWEI CLOUD International is intended for global organizations and enterprises, and overseas branches of Chinese enterprises. For details about how to register a HUAWEI CLOUD International account, see Account Registration Process. Table 1 shows the differences between the two websites.

    Real-name authentication is required only when you buy or use cloud services provisioned in the Chinese mainland.

    Requirement for transactions

    The account has completed real-name authentication.

    The account is bound with a credit card or has been granted a credit.

    Prepayment. You need to pay an upfront fee before you get started.

    Balance payment and online payment.
    • Balance payment: Top up your account through online payment or bank transfer before using the balance to pay bills.
    • Online payment: WeChat, AliPay, individual online banking, enterprise online banking, and bank transfer are supported.

Online payment supports only VISA and MasterCard cards issued in Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, and Nigeria.
