Configuring Instance Tags
A tag consists of a tag key and a tag value and is used to identify cloud resources. You can use tags to classify cloud resources by dimension, such as usage, owner, or environment. Tags allow you to better manage CNAD instances.
Limitations and Constraints
A maximum of 20 tags can be added.
Add a tag for the instance.
- Log in to the AAD console.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose . The Instances page is displayed.
- In the row containing the target instance, click Set Tag. Figure 1 Set a tag for a CNAD instance
- On the tag adding page, click Edit Tag.
- Click Add tag and enter Tag key and Tag value.
- Manually enter a tag key and tag value.
- Select an existing tag. (To add the same tag to multiple resources, click Create predefined tags to go to the TMS console and create a tag. You can select it for new resources.)

If your organization has configured a tag policy for the service, you need to add tags to resources based on the tag policy. Otherwise, the tagging operation might fail. For more information about the tag policy, contact your organization administrator.
