Adding a Scheduled Data Cleaning Task

Scenario

Tables that store too much data need to be cleaned. You can specify tables and regions for precise data deletion.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the RTD web UI and select a tenant. For details, see Accessing the RTDService Web UI.
  2. Choose Business Management > Database Tools > Scheduled Data Cleaning Task Management.
  3. Click Add and set parameters by referring to the following table.

    Parameter

    Description

    Data Cleaning Table

    Name of an existing data table

    Region

    Region column of the data table

    Timestamp

    Timestamp column of the data table

    DBGroup

    Database associated with the scheduled data cleaning task

    Maximum Retention Period

    Maximum retention period of a data table. The default value is 7 days.

    Clearing Period

    Clearing period for real-time event data in MOTService. The default value is 30 minutes.

    Maximum Number of Records

    Maximum number of real-time event data records each time deleted from a single region in MOTService

  4. Click OK.
