How Do I Fix a Migrated Server That Is Stuck in UEFI Interactive Shell Mode?
Symptom
After server migration is complete, the target server with UEFI boot mode enabled fails to boot into the OS. Instead, the server hangs on the UEFI Interactive Shell interface.

Possible Causes
Certain cloud servers (such as the C7 and M7 series) utilize different logic to locate the boot partition during startup. As a result, they cannot locate a valid boot partition and enter the UEFI Interactive Shell interface.
Solution
Select a solution based on your target server's OS.
- In the UEFI Interactive Shell interface, type exit to open the UEFI boot menu.

- Select Boot Manager and press Enter.

- Select the first boot option that contains fileIO and press Enter to boot into the OS.

- In the UEFI Interactive Shell interface, type exit to open the UEFI boot menu.

- Select Boot Maintenance Manager and press Enter.

- Press Enter to navigate to Boot Options.

- Select Change Boot Order and press Enter.

- Press Enter and select the boot options in Change the order.

- Select the first boot option that contains fileIO and press the + key to move it to the top of the priority list.

- Press Enter to confirm the new order and press F10 to save the configuration. Then, press Y to confirm.

- Press Esc to return to the UEFI boot screen, select Continue, and wait for the OS to start up.
