SMS.6303 The Installed Agent Is of an Earlier Version. Download the Latest Version
Symptom
When the Agent tried to register the source server with SMS, the error message "The installed Agent is of an earlier version. Download the latest version" was reported.
Possible Causes
The version of the Agent installed on the source server is too early. You need to download and install the latest Agent.
Solution
- Uninstall the earlier version of the Agent. For details, see Uninstalling the Agent.
- Install the latest version of the Agent. For details, see Installing the Agent on Linux.
