Changing a Security Group

Scenarios

You can change the security group of a GeminiDB Redis instance to ensure service security and availability.

Precautions

• If you are adding nodes to an instance, the security group cannot be changed.

Procedure

1. Log in to the GeminiDB console.
2. On the Instances page, locate the instance whose security group you want to change and click its name.
3. In the navigation pane, choose Node Management.
4. In the Security Group area, click to select a security group.
   • To submit the change, click . This process takes about 1 to 3 minutes.
   • To cancel the change, click .

5. View the modification result.
