Skipping DDL Statements
For a real-time synchronization task that supports incremental DDL statements, after a DDL statement is performed on the source database during incremental synchronization, DRS converts the DDL syntax based on the source and destination database types. The original DDL statement is retained if the source and destination databases are homogeneous. If the syntax of the source database is incompatible with that of the destination database, incremental DDL synchronization may fail, causing the synchronization task to be suspended unexpectedly.
To solve this problem, you can skip the DDL statement to continue the synchronization task after rectifying the fault based on the synchronization log information.
Procedure
- The error information contains the DDL statement of the source database. You can convert the statement to a DDL statement that complies with the syntax of the destination database and execute the DDL statement in the destination database based on service requirements.
- On the Data Synchronization Management page, locate the task you want to skip and click Skip DDL in the Operation column. Figure 1 Skip DDL
- After confirming that statement was executed on the destination database, click Yes to skip the error and continue the synchronization task.
