Why Did My Primary RDS DB Instance Become Read-Only?

Updated at: Jul 07, 2021 GMT+08:00

If your storage space usage reaches up to 100% of the total storage, your primary RDS DB instance becomes read-only automatically. It becomes readable and writable again after the storage space usage is reduced to less than 85% of the total storage. For details about the causes and solutions of insufficient storage space, see What Should I Do If My Data Exceeds the Available Storage of an RDS DB Instance?
