Data Protection Technology

The VIAS processes the following types of data:

User input data.
Results generated by various algorithms and models.

To ensure data security during usage, the service uses multiple protection measures and features.

**Table 1** Table 1 Data protection measures and features of VIAS
Protection Measure	Description
Transmission encryption (HTTPS)	HTTPS and Huawei Cloud API Gateway (APIG) are used to ensure end-to-end data transmission security. APIG supports both TLS 1.1 and 1.2. TLS 1.2 is recommended because it is more secure.
Data storage	Neither the data uploaded by users nor the results generated by the platform will be saved on the server.
