Description

Scenario

Constraints

General-purpose (recommended)

CPU resources are shared with other general-purpose DB instances on the same physical machine. CPU usage is maximized through resource overcommitment. This instance class is cost-effective and is suitable for scenarios that have low requirements on performance stability.

Suitable for scenarios that have high requirements on cost-effectiveness.

This instance class is supported in the following regions: CN North-Beijing4, CN East-Shanghai1, CN South-Guangzhou, CN Southwest-Guiyang1, AP-Bangkok, AP-Singapore, and CN-Hong Kong.

Dedicated (recommended)

CPU and memory resources are dedicated for use and performance is stable without being affected by other instances on the same physical machine. This instance class applies to scenarios that require high performance stability.

Suitable for core database scenarios such as e-commerce, gaming, finance, government organs, and enterprises.

This instance class is supported in the following regions: CN North-Beijing4, CN East-Shanghai1, CN South-Guangzhou, CN Southwest-Guiyang1, AP-Bangkok, AP-Singapore, and CN-Hong Kong.

General-enhanced and general-enhanced II

With a leading network acceleration engine and Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) fast packet processing mechanism, this instance class provides higher network performance and computing power.

Suitable for websites and web applications that require high database computing and network performance.

This instance class is supported in all regions except CN North-Beijing4, CN East-Shanghai1, CN South-Guangzhou, CN Southwest-Guiyang1, AP-Bangkok, AP-Singapore, and CN-Hong Kong.

Kunpeng general-enhanced

Equipped with Kunpeng 920 processor and 25GE intelligent high-speed NIC, this instance class provides powerful Kunpeng computing power and high-performance network capabilities.

Suitable for government organs, Internet companies, and enterprises.
