Due to various factors such as technology and cost, OCR has some constraints. The system-wide constraints affect all sub-services. In addition to system-wide constraints, sub-services have their independent constraints.

Web Image OCR

  • Chinese, English, and some traditional Chinese characters are supported.
  • Images only in JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, GIF, and WebP format can be recognized.
  • Common web images are supported, such as mobile phone screenshots, computer screenshots, e-commerce product images, and advertisement design drawings.
  • Each edge of the image must contain 15 to 8,192 pixels.
  • The characters to be recognized must occupy more than 60% of the image.
  • The web image to be recognized can be rotated by any degree (direction detection must be enabled).

Passport OCR

  • Passports of different countries can be recognized by extracting information based on the machine-readable code at the bottom of the first page.
  • Images only in PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, or TIFF format can be recognized.
  • Each edge of the image must contain 15 to 4,096 pixels.
  • The information page of the passport to be recognized must occupy more than 25% of the image. Ensure that the entire page is displayed in the image.
  • The passport in the image can be rotated by any degree.
  • The passport in the image can be moderately distorted, but the aspect ratio of the distorted passport cannot exceed 10% of that of the original one.
  • Illuminated or dark images can be recognized, but the recognition accuracy may be compromised.

Thailand ID Card OCR

  • The ID card in the image can be rotated by any degree.
  • The ID card in the image can be moderately distorted, but the aspect ratio of the distorted ID card cannot exceed 10% of that of the original one.

  • The ID card in the image can be rotated by any degree.
  • The ID card in the image can be moderately distorted, but the aspect ratio of the distorted ID card cannot exceed 10% of that of the original one.
  • Illuminated or dark images can be recognized, but the recognition accuracy may be compromised.
  • Only the front or back of a single ID card can be identified each time.

  • The driving license in the image can be moderately distorted, but the aspect ratio of the distorted driving license cannot exceed 10% of that of the original one.
  • Illuminated or dark images can be recognized, but the recognition accuracy may be compromised.

Chile ID Card OCR
