Billing Mode
The pay-per-use and discount package billing modes are available.
Pay-per-Use
Content Moderation adopts tiered pricing based on the number of API calls. The tiered API calls are accumulated by calendar month. After a calendar month ends, the API calls are cleared. During the promotion period, you can make a specific number of API calls free of charge each month. .
NOTE:
- An API call is counted only when it succeeds. Remaining free API calls will be cleared by the end of the month.
- Billing rule: tiered pricing based on the number of API calls. The tiered API calls are accumulated by calendar month. After a calendar month ends, the API calls are cleared.
- Billing cycle: an hour. Fees are deducted from your account within one hour of the billing cycle expiration (subject to the system).
Discount Package
After you subscribe to a discount package, the fee is deducted from the discount package quota. The fee beyond the quota is settled in pay-per-use mode. Compared with the pay-per-use mode, this mode offers larger discount and is recommended for long-term users. .
NOTE:
- Packages are paid in full, take effect immediately upon payment, and become unavailable upon expiration. Currently, you cannot specify the date when the package takes effect. For example, if you purchase a one-year discount package on January 1, the package automatically expires on January 1 in the next year. The validity period will not be extended and the fees cannot be refunded even though you have not made any API calls in the year.
- Packages can be subscribed to multiple times and can be used together.
- The fees for API calls can be deducted from the discount package quota only when the API calls are made within the validity period of the discount package. The excess part is billed in pay-per-use mode.
- The fees for API calls beyond the discount package quota are settled in pay-per-use mode according to tiered pricing. For example, if you have purchased a Text Moderation package of 1 million API calls in the current month and made 2.25 million API calls after the package took effect, the fee you need to pay is calculated as follows: $1,044 (package fee) + (1,500,000 - 1,000,000) x $0.0013 + (2,250,000 - 1,500,000) x $0.00092 = $2,384.
