The number of CRC error packets on an interface of a remote unit exceeds the alarm threshold within a specified period of time. The current threshold is 20 and the period is 1 minute.

  2. Replace the optical fiber and check whether the alarm is cleared.
    • If so, the alarm handling ends.
    • If not, collect alarm and configuration information and contact technical support personnel.
