This alarm is generated when the central switch fails to upgrade an RU. This alarm needs to be manually cleared.
Possible Causes
Cause 1: UpgradeTimeOut: The RU upgrade timed out.
Cause 2: upgrade is break: The upgrade is interrupted. In most cases, this issue occurs if the RU is reset during the upgrade.
Cause 3: no signature: The newly upgraded firmware does not have a signature.
Procedure
- If the Reason field in the alarm information is UpgradeTimeOut, check whether the communication between the central switch and the RU is normal.
- If the Reason field in the alarm information is upgrade is break, no special processing is required. The RU will be upgraded again.
- If the Reason field in the alarm information is no signature, the signature of the firmware patch is incorrect. In this case, contact the firmware patch provider to check whether the signature of the patch is correct.
