Description

WLAN/4/AP_FAN_INVALID:OID [oid] All functions of the fan module failed. (APMAC=[OPAQUE], APName=[STRING], ApFanIndex=[INTEGER], ApEntityPhysicalName=[OCTET], APID=[INTEGER])

The alarm is generated when fans become faulty.

Only the AD9430DN-24 and AD9431DN-24X support this object.

The temperature of boards becomes high.

Possible Causes

Fans are faulty.

Procedure

Run the display fan command on AD9430DN-24 or AD9431DN-24X to check the fan status. Check whether the fan tray is registered and the fan speed is zero.
  • If the fan tray is not registered, remove and install the fan tray.
  • If the fan speed is zero, replace the fan.

If the fault persists, contact technical support personnel.
