IFPDT/4/VXLANHASHNOTSUPPORT:OID [OID] The Eth-Trunk can not function normally as an outbound interface for vxlan packets when IP address-based load balancing is configured. (InterfaceIndex=[INTEGER], InterfaceName=[STRING])

When an Eth-Trunk interface functions as an outbound interface of VXLAN packets, IP address-based load balancing configured on the Eth-Trunk interface does not take effect for VXLAN packets.

Impact on the System

When an Eth-Trunk interface functions as an outbound interface of VXLAN packets, IP address-based load balancing configured on the Eth-Trunk interface does not take effect for VXLAN packets.

Possible Causes

When the Eth-Trunk interface functions as an outbound interface of VXLAN packets, it has IP address-based load balancing in common mode configured.

Procedure

  • Clear the alarm through iMaster NCE-Campus.
    • Clear the alarm through the CLI.
      1. Log in to iMaster NCE-Campus as a tenant administrator and choose Plan > Provision > Configuration > Site Configuration from the main menu. Choose Site > CLI on the Site Configuration tab page.
      2. Run the load-balance {dst-mac} command on the Eth-Trunk interface to configure MAC address-based load balancing. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
        • If so, go to Step 4.
        • If not, go to Step 3.
      3. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
      4. End.
    • Clear the alarm through the controller web UI.
      1. Log in to iMaster NCE-Campus as a tenant administrator and choose Plan > Provision > Configuration > Site Configuration from the main menu. On the Site Configuration tab page, choose Switch > Interface.
      2. On the Select Interface page, select the device and Eth-Trunk interface to be configured.
      3. Expand Advanced and set Load balancing to Destination MAC Address.
      4. End
  • Clear the alarm through the device CLI.
    1. Run the load-balance {dst-mac} command on the Eth-Trunk interface to configure MAC address-based load balancing. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
      1. If so, go to Step 3.
      2. If not, go to Step 2.
    2. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
    3. End.
