Procedure

  1. Check the networking, find senders of the multicast and broadcast packets, and optimize the networking. Check whether the alarm persists.

    • If so, go to Step 2.
    • If not, go to Step 4.

  2. Run the traffic-optimize broadcast-suppression enable command in the AP system profile view to enable the rate limit for broadcast packets and IGMP multicast packets on the AP. Check whether the alarm persists.

    • If so, go to Step 3.
    • If not, go to Step 4.

  3. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
  4. End.
