Description
MSTP/2/IVBPDU:OID [OID] The edged-port that enabled BPDU-Protection will be shutdown, because it received BPDU packet. (InstanceID=[INTEGER], PortID=[INTEGER], IfIndex=[INTEGER], PortName=[STRING])
The port enabled with BPDU protection and connected to the user received BPDUs. These BPDUs are likely to be attack packets from the user.

Possible Causes
The edge port received BPDUs, and BPDU protection was enabled globally.
Procedure
- Check whether the interface should be specified as an edge port.
- If so, go to Step 2.
- If not, go to Step 3.
- Locate the source of the BPDUs on the interface and check whether the malicious attack exists.
- If so, go to Step 4.
- If not, go to Step 3.
- Run the undo stp edged-port command and then the undo shutdown command in the interface view to delete the configuration of the edge port and restart the interface. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
- If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
- If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 4.
- Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
