Impact on the System
The active and standby channels fail, and the internal communication links of the two iMaster NCE-Campus devices fail. As a result, a large number of BGP routes flap.
Possible Causes
The internal communication links between two iMaster NCE-Campus devices are disconnected, and heartbeat packets are lost.
Procedure
- Run the display interface command to check whether the status and configurations of the interfaces between the internal communication links of the iMaster NCE-Campus devices are correct.
- If so, go to step 2.
- If not, ensure that the interfaces are in the Up state and their IP addresses and routes are correctly configured.
- Check whether heartbeat packets are lost due to heavy service traffic.
- If so, reduce unnecessary service traffic.
- If not, go to step 3.
- Collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
