How Do I Create a VPC Endpoint?

ICAgent allows you to create a VPC endpoint to connect to AOM or LTS, and then send heartbeat messages and report logs to ICAgent.

To use VPC endpoints to connect to the network, you need to purchase two VPC endpoints. One is used to connect to AOM for ICAgent to report heartbeat messages and metrics, and the other is used to connect to LTS for ICAgent to report logs.

This function is available only in the CN Southwest-Guiyang1 region.

Creating an AOM/LTS endpoint

1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud VPC Endpoints (VPCEP) console to go to the VPC Endpoints page.
2. Click Buy VPC Endpoint.
3. On the displayed page, select the region where ICAgent is located, set Service Category to Cloud service, search for and select AOM from Service List, select Create a Private Domain Name, select the VPC and subnet of the node where ICAgent is located, and retain the default values of other parameters. 4. Click Next. After the purchase, an AOM endpoint is created.
5. Repeat the preceding steps to purchase another VPC endpoint. Select the region where ICAgent is located, set Service Category to Cloud service, search for and select LTS from Service List, select Create a Private Domain Name, select the VPC and subnet of the node where ICAgent is located, and retain the default values of other parameters.
6. Click Next. After the purchase, an LTS endpoint is created.
