Why Is "Request failed due to conflicts in the current state of the resource." Displayed When I Create a Data Subscription Rule?

Symptom

During the creation of a data subscription rule, message "Request failed due to conflicts in the current state of the resource." is displayed when a user clicks Create Network Connection Channel.

Possible Cause

The creation of a network connection channel depends on the cross-VPC access configuration of the Distributed Message Service (DMS) Kafka instance. If the Kafka instance is faulty, modifying the internal IP address of the Kafka instance for cross-VPC access may time out or fail.

Solution

Restart the Kafka instance on the DMS console. (During the restart, requests for producing and consuming messages will be rejected. Exercise caution when performing this operation.) If the problem persists, submit a service ticket to contact technical support and provide the corresponding project ID and data subscription rule ID.
