What Are the Impacts on DRS If I Perform Operations on the Destination Database During Data Migration?
- If operations are performed on the source database, DRS migrates data properly. However, if DDL or DML operations that are not supported are performed on the source database during migration, it will cause data inconsistency.
- Operations on the destination database:
- If you add fields, the DRS task is normal.
- If you reduce fields in a table, the DRS task will fail.
- If you manually add, modify, or delete a record, the DRS data comparison result will be inconsistent.
- If you scale up storage of a RDS database, it is an internal operation of RDS and does not affect DRS tasks.
