Description

  • Public resource pool

    Public resource pools provide large-scale public computing clusters, which are allocated based on job parameter settings. Resources are isolated by job. You will be billed based on resource flavors, usage duration, and the number of instances used in a public resource pool, regardless of tasks (training, deployment, or development). Public resource pools are provided by ModelArts by default and do not need to be created or configured. You can directly select a public resource pool during AI development.

  • Dedicated resource pool

    The resources provided in a dedicated resource pool are exclusive, featuring higher resource efficiency than a public resource pool.

    To use a dedicated resource pool, create it and select the dedicated resource pool during AI development. For details, see Creating a Dedicated Resource Pool.

What Do I Do If I Always Wait in a Queue When Using a Public Resource Pool?

If jobs are always in the Deploying or Queuing status when you use a public resource pool, check whether the resources in the resource pool are sufficient.

To ensure that the jobs can be successfully executed, release some resources for the existing jobs or deploy the jobs on a dedicated resource pool.
