• Upon Expiration

  If a yearly/monthly Kafka instance expires and is not renewed, the instance enters the grace period. If the instance is still not renewed within the grace period, it enters the retention period. Renew the instance within the retention period. Otherwise, the instance will be released and the data cannot be restored.

  Within the grace period, you can access your Kafka instance, but cannot change specifications or enable or disable Smart Connect.

  You cannot perform any operations on an instance in the retention period.
