It controls node pool type. Node pools vary based on node types. Options:

vm: ECS
ElasticBMS: general computing-plus C6 BMS. An example flavor is c6.22xlarge.2.physical
pm: BMS

No. This parameter can only be configured during initialization.

Scope

CCE standard and CCE Turbo clusters

If this parameter is left blank, the value vm is used by default.
