Upper Limit of Pre-bound Container ENIs

When the number of container ENIs bound to a node exceeds what is supported, no more container ENIs will be pre-bound. Checking the maximum number of pre-bound container ENIs is enabled only when the value of this parameter is at least equal to the minimum number of container ENIs (nic-minimum-target) bound to a node.

The value must be a positive integer. The default value of 0 specifies that the check on the maximum number of container ENIs pre-bound to a node is disabled. If the number you entered exceeds the container ENI quota of the node, the ENI quota will be used.

Value Range

From 0 to 256

Default Value

Modifiable

Yes

Scope

Suggestions

To configure the upper limit, set the parameter to the maximum number of pods that can run on most nodes.
