Associate Resource

Description

Select the resources you want to back up in the list. After selected, they will be displayed in the list of selected resources.

  • Only unassociated resources that are Available, Stopped, or In-use state can be selected.
  • If you skip this step, no resource will be associated with the vault you are creating. You can associate resources with this vault later as needed.

If you need to use an ECS backup to create an image, before backing up the ECS, ensure that the ECS has been optimized and Cloud-init or Cloudbase-init has been installed on it. (Backups of BMSs cannot be used to create images.)

Can I Choose to Back Up Only Some Partitions of a Disk?

No. The minimum backup granularity that CBR supports is disk.

Can I Download My Backup Data to a Local PC?

No. CBR backups cannot be downloaded to local PCs.

How Many Backups Can I Create for a Resource?

This number is not limited. Theoretically, you can create as many backups for a resource as needed.
