The number of protected IP addresses refers to the number of EIPs that can be protected by each CNAD Advanced instance. You are advised to evaluate the number of protected IP addresses based on the number of EIPs of your cloud resources.

Can CNAD Advanced Protect Non-Huawei Cloud and On-Premises IP Addresses?

CNAD Advanced protects Huawei Cloud resources that use public IP addresses, such as ECSs, ELBs, WAFs, and EIPs, while cannot protect non-Huawei Cloud and on-premises resources.

Does CNAD Advanced Protect IPv6 Addresses?

CNAD Advanced Standard Edition and CNAD Advanced Unlimited Protection Basic Edition can protect Huawei Cloud public IP addresses (IPv6 and IPv4). CNAD Advanced Unlimited Protection Advanced Edition does not support IPv6 IP addresses.
