Forwarding Rules

Description

The number of forwarding rules is the number of TCP/UDP forwarding rules that can be added to the AAD instance. This parameter is available only when the access type is IP access. By default, 5 forwarding rules are provided. You can pay for more. A maximum of 50 forwarding rules are supported.

Can I Configure the Same Port in Forwarding Rules?

The forwarding protocol and forwarding port in each forwarding rule must be unique. The forwarding port and the port that is configured in adding a domain name can be the same.

Failure to Configure a Forwarding Rule

If the forwarding rule fails to be configured, perform the following steps to locate the fault:

  • It takes 2 to 3 minutes for the forwarding rule configuration to take effect. If the forwarding rule is in the Processing state, refresh the page later.
  • During the delivery of forwarding rule configurations, AAD checks whether the configured origin server IP addresses and ports are reachable and whether they conflict with existing forwarding rules. If the configuration fails, check whether the origin server is working properly or whether forwarding rules have already been configured.
