Managing the Storage Space of a Single SQL Statement On a Single DN

Updated at: Sep 17, 2021 GMT+08:00

Context

Limit the maximum space that can be used by a single SQL statement to insert data on a single DN. This prevents a large amount of data inserted by a single SQL statement on a single DN from causing serious data skew on the DN.

Prerequisites

enable_perm_space has been set to on, indicating that storage space control is enabled.

Procedure

Enable the storage space control function for managing the insert space of a single SQL statement on a Single DN. The control size can be set as required.

gs_guc reload -Z coordinator -Z datanode -N all -I all -c "sql_use_spacelimit=1024000"
