What Should I Do if the Error Message "DAYU.0902: Agent call failed. Check the CDM logs for details." Is Displayed When I Create an MRS HetuEngine Data Connection?
Symptom
When a user creates an MRS HetuEngine data connection, the error message "DAYU.0902: Agent call failed. Check the CDM logs for details." is displayed. The invocation details show: Get cluster failed for user does not belong to the specified tenant or user is not bound to any tenant.
Possible Causes
If the MRS Hive strict mode is enabled and you want to connect to a newly created MRS cluster of version 3.5.1 or later, add an attribute whose name is tenant and whose value is the queue name (for example, default) in the Properties area. Otherwise, on the MRS Manager page, choose Cluster > Services > HetuEngine and click the Configurations tab and then All Configurations. Then change the value of tenant.strict.mode.enabled for the HetuEngine service to false.
Solution
- When creating a data connection, add the attribute tenant=default in the attribute configuration. Figure 1 Adding an attribute
- On MRS Manager, choose Cluster > Services > HetuEngine. On the displayed page, click Configuration and then All Configurations. Change the value of the parameter tenant.strict.mode.enabled to false. Figure 2 Modifying HetuEngine parameters
