What Should I Do If the Error Message "DAYU.1088: Failed to process the request sent by the agent" Is Displayed When I Create an MRS Hive Data Connection?

Symptom

When you create an MRS Hive data connection in the management center and click Test, the error message "DAYU.1088: Failed to process the request sent by the agent" is displayed.

Possible Causes

The agent node cannot communicate with the OMS service plane (x.x.x.x:20029) of the MRS cluster.

Solution

Enable the security group rules for the port 20029 of the OMS service plane and port 20009 of the CAS from the agent node to the MRS cluster.

1. Query the IP address of the MRS cluster used for creating the data connection.
   1. Log in to the Manager page of the MRS cluster.
   2. On Manager, choose System > OMS and click the address of the current active node.

   3. Obtain the service IP address.

2. Check the security group bound to the agent used for creating the data connection.

3. Configure inbound rules for the security group.
   1. On the security group details page, click the Inbound Rules tab and click Add Rule.

   2. Configure inbound rules.

      Add two rules. Set Protocol & Port to the default Protocols / TCP (Custom ports), and set the port numbers to 20029 and 20009. Set Source to IP address, and set the IP addresses to the IP addresses obtained in 1.c.
