How Can I Know Whether the SSH Service Has Been Installed on My Local Device?
- Open the CLI on your local device. The following uses Windows 10 as an example:
Press Win+R, enter cmd in the Run dialog box, and press Enter.
- Enter the ssh command and press Enter.
- If no error is reported and the following information is displayed, SSH has been installed.
- If the following error message is displayed, download SSH, such as OpenSSH.
Download SSH from https://www.mls-software.com/files/setupssh-8.1p1-1.exe.
The SSH version must be 6.5 or later. After the installation is complete, run the ssh -V command to check the SSH version.

Run the ssh command. If the error persists, restart the local device and try again.
