What Can I Do If the Message "The Certificate Validity Period Must Be Within the Validity Period of the Parent CA" Is Displayed During Switchover Between DST and Standard Time?
After switching from Daylight Saving Time (DST) to standard time, the clock is set back one hour. If a CA is created within the hour immediately preceding the switch, it cannot be used for immediate certificate issuance. Issuance is only possible once the standard time is later than the original CA creation time.
For example, if a CA is created at 08:30 (DST) and the time is switched from DST to standard time at 09:00 (DST), the time is one hour earlier, that is, 08:00 (standard time). Because 08:00 (standard time) is earlier than 08:30 (CA creation time), the CA cannot issue certificates. The CA can issue certificates only after the time is later than 08:30.
