How Do I Query and Verify the Email Address of the Domain Administrator?

This topic describes how to query the email address of the domain administrator during certificate approval and perform confirmation as prompted.

Visit http://whois.domaintools.com/ and enter the domain name whose administrator email address you want to query.
In the query result, view the email address of the domain administrator.
If the email address is correct, the CA will send a confirmation email to the email address after you apply for a certificate. Click the confirmation link in the email received and perform the confirmation as prompted.
