Why a Black Block Is Displayed on the Mouse When the MSTSC Client Is Used to Access a Server Resource?
If a black block is displayed when you use the MSTSC client to access server resources, perform the following operations to fix the issue.
Procedure
- Log in to your server.
- Open Control Panel and click Devices.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click Mouse to go to the mouse configuration page.
- Click Mouse Properties box and then click the Pointers tab.
- Deselect Enable pointer shadow and click OK.
