Creating an RDS Instance
Create an RDS instance that is in the same VPC and security group as the self-managed MySQL database.
- Go to the Buy DB Instance page.
- Configure the instance name and basic information. Select CN-Hong Kong for Region.
- Select an instance class.
- Select a VPC and security group for the instance and configure the database port.
- Configure the instance password.
- Click Next.
- Confirm the settings.
- To modify your settings, click Previous.
- If you do not need to modify your settings, click Submit.
- Return to the instance list.
If the instance status becomes available, the instance has been created.
