Creating an RDS for MySQL Instance

Create an RDS for MySQL instance that is in the same VPC and security group as the self-managed MySQL database.

1. Go to the Buy DB Instance page.
2. Configure basic information for the instance. Select CN-Hong Kong for Region.

3. Select an instance class and retain the default values for other parameters.

4. Click Next.
5. Confirm the settings.
   • To modify your settings, click Previous.
   • If you do not need to modify your settings, click Submit.

6. Return to the instance list.

   If the instance status becomes available, the instance has been created.
