Creating a Schema and Associating It with the Prepared RDS for MySQL Instance

Procedure

1. Locate the prepared DDM instance, click its name, and choose Schemas on the displayed page.
2. In the upper left corner, click Create Schema.

3. Select Sharded for Sharding, specify Shards based on service requirements, select the RDS for MySQL instance created in Preparing an RDS for MySQL Instance for Data Nodes, and click Next.

4. Enter the password of the selected RDS for MySQL instance and click Test Availability. After the test succeeds, click Finish.

5. View the created schema in the schema list.
