Installing Pre-installed Applications

Scenarios

Some applications must be installed on all cloud phones on a cloud phone server, and by default, they will be installed after the cloud phones are reset.

Procedure

  1. Push the TAR packages of the applications to the shared space of the cloud phone server and set pre_install_app to 1. For details, see Pushing the TAR Package of an Application to the Shared Space.
  2. Reset the cloud phones. All of the applications will be installed on the cloud phones automatically.
  • Installing pre-installed applications will increase the time it takes to reset your cloud phones.
  • If a cloud phone is in use and cannot be reset, run appctrl install to install the pre-installed applications one by one.
  • To cancel the application pre-installation, push the TAR packages of the applications again and set pre_install_app to 0. For details, see Pushing the TAR Package of an Application to the Shared Space. When you reset the cloud phones, the applications will not be automatically installed.
