Modifying the Automated Backup Policy

Function

This API is used to modify the automated backup policy. Before calling this API:

This API will be unavailable on March 31, 2025. You are advised to switch workloads to the new API (Configuring a Same-Region Backup Policy) before then.

Value range: 1–732.

start_time

String

Yes

Backup time window. Automated backups will be triggered during the backup time window.

The value cannot be empty. It must be a valid value in the "hh:mm-HH:MM" format. The current time is in the UTC format.

  • The HH value must be 1 greater than the hh value.
  • The values of mm and MM must be the same and must be set to 00.

Example value:

  • 21:00-22:00

period

String

Yes

Backup cycle configuration. Data will be automatically backed up on the selected days every week.

The value is a number separated by commas (,), indicating the days of the week.

For example, the value 1,2,3,4 indicates that the backup period is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

retention_num_backup_level1

Integer

No

Number of retained level-1 backups. The default value is 0. This parameter is mandatory when the level-1 backup function is enabled. This parameter is unavailable when the level-1 backup function is disabled. Values:
