What Types of Storage Does RDS Use?
RDS uses EVS disks for data storage. For details, see Elastic Volume Service User Guide.
RDS backups are automatically stored in OBS buckets and do not occupy the storage space of DB instances. For details about RDS storage configuration, see Object Storage Service User Guide.
