Restoring an On-Premises Backup File to an RDS DB Instance
To restore an RDS instance from on-premises MySQL backups:
Use the DRS real-time migration to migrate on-premises MySQL databases to RDS.
To restore an RDS instance from on-premises SQL Server backups:
- Upload the .bak backup file in the on-premises SQL Server database to an OBS bucket.
- Use the DRS backup migration to migrate the backup files from an OBS bucket to RDS.
