Creating a Network ACL
Scenarios
You can create a custom network ACL. By default, a newly created network ACL is disabled and has no inbound or outbound rules, or any subnets associated.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
- Click in the upper left corner and choose Network > Virtual Private Cloud.
The Virtual Private Cloud page is displayed.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Access Control > Network ACLs.
- In the right pane displayed, click Create Network ACL.
- On the Create Network ACL page, configure parameters as prompted.

Name
The network ACL name. This parameter is mandatory.
The name contains a maximum of 64 characters, which may consist of letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-). The name cannot contain spaces.

Enterprise Project
Mandatory
Enterprise project that the network ACL belongs to.
An enterprise project facilitates project-level management and grouping of cloud resources and users. The default project is default.

Description
Supplementary information about the network ACL. This parameter is optional.
The description can contain a maximum of 255 characters and cannot contain angle brackets (< or >).
