Creating Elasticsearch Data Connections

Before establishing a data connection to Elasticsearch, ensure that the following conditions are met:

  • You have obtained the IP address and port number of the Elasticsearch data source.

Creating Elasticsearch Data Connections

  1. Log in to the DLV console.
  2. On the Data page, click the workspace drop-down list at the top of the page, select the workspace to be accessed, and click New Data Connection.

  3. In the New Data Connection dialog box, set Data Source Type to Elasticsearch and set the related parameters.

    When you create a connection to Elasticsearch, configure the parameters as described in Table 1.

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    Name of the data connection. Must contain 1 to 32 characters and contain only letters, digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).

    Host

    Intranet IP address of the Elasticsearch cluster to be connected.

    Port

    Port number of the Elasticsearch cluster to be connected.

    Security Mode

    Whether the security mode will be enabled for the Elasticsearch cluster you want to connect to. By default, the security mode is disabled.

    Username

    Administrator account name of the Elasticsearch cluster. This parameter is valid only when Security Mode is enabled.

    Password

    Administrator password of the Elasticsearch cluster. This parameter is valid only when Security Mode is enabled.

    Agent

    Select an available connection agent.

    schema

    Enter a mapping name that is different from the index name.

  4. Click OK.
